Seeing that you’re going to be in Oberlin---if you have time in town, there’s a record store in town called Hanson’s which has a lot of experimental, ambient and electronic music--some going way back. If you haven’t been there yet, the Allen Art Museum is pretty fantastic, with both older and contemporary art. I think you’ll feel very welcome there.
